CTS Corporation Establishes New EMS Facility in San Jose

Serving Customers with High Level Capabilities

Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) today announced that its Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) business will open a new operation in San Jose, California in August 2008.  The new facility expands CTS’ ability to support complex applications in high-end markets such as medical and defense and aerospace.

The new San Jose operation will increase manufacturing space in Northern California to approximately 80,000 sq. ft. by consolidating two CTS sites in Santa Clara and San Jose. Both facilities offer specialist manufacturing services, including complex PCB and high level assembly, cable and harness assembly, military repair and extensive test services. Combining the sites into a single operation will provide customers with greater scope for manufacturing support and improved access to services in the future.

“Our existing facilities in Santa Clara and San Jose have proven to be very successful centers for ultra-complex, lower volume production. Establishing a single, larger operation in the Bay Area underlines our commitment to manufacturing in the region and demonstrates our ongoing investment in the excellent skill base available in Northern California. We look forward to expanding our range of services and increasing production volumes over the next few years,” stated Don Schroeder, President of CTS EMS.
