Our primary goal is to satisfy the needs and exceed the expectations of our
customers and to contribute to sustainable technology and product development. This is accomplished
through the implementation of nationally and internationally recognized
accreditations, which also assist CTS in meeting legal,
regulatory, industry, customer or other requirements.
At the heart of stakeholder focus is our range of independent,
externally assessed, management system accreditations and product approvals.
Each of our facilities maintain the management systems as integral to our
customer-focused drive for continuous improvement and enhance
manufacturing processes.
TuV: CTS is an "approved production facility" as assessed independently
by TUV Product Services, who in addition to assessing our ISO 9001:2000 QMS,
also verify product conformity, functional and safety testing on behalf of a
major customer.
BABT: BABTps in addition to assessing our ISO 9001:2000 QMS,
also verifies functional and safety testing. BABT Manufacturing Test
Numbers S01, S02, S03, S04: The capability to conduct the above
testing has been assessed by BABT and included in this certification.
This does not exclude the conducting of other relevant testing as part
of the production process, nor does it imply that the tests listed are
adequate to demonstrate ongoing compliance with any defined requirements
in their own right, but provides an indication of assessed test
capability and expertise.
UL and CSA: The CTS range of
connectors are recognized under the Component Programme of Underwriters
Laboratories (UL) and Certified by the Canadian Standards Authority (CSA),
both provide international recognition and are assessed under their
continuous conformity inspection programmes. Both UL & CSA also inspect
product conformity for CTS’ major customers.
Quality Assurance is integral to the design and manufacturing cycle and
is at the heart of our customer satisfaction policy. We are members of the IPCand IPC-A-610 is our basic workmanship standards manual. Furthermore, we
have IPC registered instructors for both IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001. CTS
manufacturing processes are capable of satisfying and currently produce to
IPC-610 Class 3.
